Twickenham Cygnets won their second match against Walton and Hersham last Sunday.
There were debuts for two new girls Holly and Elsie. We started off well by scoring our first
goal in the first fifteen minutes. Heidi who scored a hat-trick last Sunday scored again to
make it 1-0. We carried on well and about 10 minutes later Lois scored a rebound shot.
After that we defended well and sadly missed one shot. Then it was half time.
Walton kicked off the second half and unfortunately Heidi due to injury could not start the
second half. The game was tight and there was not many chances for either side. Walton
scored a goal half way through the second half, their midfielder Francesca scored a low shot
which went into the bottom right of the goal. Elise was unlucky not to save it but she had
played fantastically well saving many goals. We were a bit out of breath for the rest of the
second half but we hung on for our second win of the season. Everyone played brilliantly
well.
